Please note: Turning Earth Hoxton classes sell out extremely quickly (often within minutes), particularly those held in the evenings. Due to our high number of subscribers and the comparatively small size of our team, we don't have the resources to manage an advance waiting list. Instead, we now list the date and time that each course goes online as soon as we have scheduled it so that you can set a reminder to come back and book. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to welcoming you into the studio soon.
Our booking provider Mindbody requires you to register before you sign up for a class. If you do that now then you can sign up quickly and easily once the course goes online.

About Turning Earth's ceramics classes
Our courses run all year round and each one is taught by an experienced Turning Earth artist. Each class has only 12 students to a teacher so you can expect plenty of individual attention. Classes cover both hand-building techniques and wheel throwing and are available for anyone ages 16 or older. Tuition fees are £285 for a 12 week standard class, and each session is 2.5 hours long. When your work is ready to be fired, there’ll be a small charge of £3.50 per kg for materials. Courses are non-refundable one in progress.
We also offer a 3-hour throwing class over 12 weeks on a Monday in our main studio area. The fee for the throwing class is £345 for 12 weeks (3 hours each class). There are 15 students and two teachers, so you can expect plenty of individual attention.
Read more about our classes here.
We also offer courses in our new site in E10, a beautiful ceramics retreat hidden in the Argall Avenue industrial estate in Leyton, near Lea Bridge Road station. We have a separate dedicated classroom in the Leyton studio, and so we are able offer a greater variety of courses there; if you can't find something suitable in Hoxton there may be a course online at Argall Avenue that would suit you.
You can also sign up for a week-long Turning Earth Intensive at the Leyton studio if you prefer to put aside a block of time to learn rather than attending a weekly class.
